He may be commenting on the fact that when you do get hit with them, you get covered up with pop-ups. Seems to be very random. I can lurk here all week and not see any. Then I log on one time and every time I open a thread I get a pop-up. I had 3 on my screen at once this afternoon.

I'm not complaining mind you. Just stating a point. I realize how this site makes it's money and I don't mind it.

You should use Opera-it allows you to totally turn off popup windows. You still need M$IE to access some sites that are rigged to malfunction on anything but M$IE (Such as M$ sites.)
