Help Me remember My Past! (Music wise.)

Surreals post and Knot's Reply got me to thinking.

My daughters aren't even sick of it yet!
Also old blues...you can't go wrong with Robert Johnson, but here's a guy that people forget about a lot, Mississippi John Hurt. The humanity that came outta that sweet, simple old man is truly astonishing. It's just his voice and (amazingly complex) nylon-string guitar There's a 3-cd collection of his last works from Verve, highly recommended!!
Also Moby, pretty good, I hear...
I started looking for song's of the 70's.(ok i was born in 63)

My problem is I don't know the names of some of these obscure rock group's /song's. you know the one hit wonder's. or maybe a fave song's
(could that be caused by a drug induced haze from back then? yes I smoked dope, but not anymore.)
I listened to alot of
BTO
Pink floyd
boston
Reo
Fleetwood mac
rush
That type of stuff.

What'cha got for me?

Hey Knot at least it's not about "Globug" j/k

Well, here some I have from 60's/70's:
(just c&p from my list)
Simon & Garfunkel - The Sound of Silence.mp3
Turtles - So Happy Together.mp3
Jimi Hendrix - Star Spangled Banner.mp3
Troggs - Wild Thing.mp3
The Eagles - Hotel California.mp3
Van Morrison - Brown Eyed Girl.mp3
Bay City Rollers - Saturday Night.mp3
Village People - YMCA.mp3

Most, if not all are probably top 10 hits @ one time or another (probably have heard all of them...I don't really listen to any obscure ones.....if I had broadband, I'd experiment a lot more, but downloading an mp3 is more of a process...plus there are so many oldies, it's hard to sift through them.

Well, if you have a high speed connection one of the great things about Audio Galaxy is searching for a group, and the zillions of songs that pop up.
It's really my choice for music sampling..

Can't believe you guys left out Lynnard Skynard..
ZZ Top

For me it was probably The Archies doing Sugar, Sugar every hour on the hour for three years.
