Peter. T. Bauer who argued in many books against the prevalent social planning model of economic development for less developed economies died on May 3, 2002.
He was to receive in several days the Cato Institute's , a conservative Liberitarian Organization's, first Milton Friedman Liberty Award, named after the famed free-market economist.
The presentation was to be tomorrow, Thursday, May 8th.
