Sorry but I find this rather pathetic.
Wanna make our skies safer ? How about a petition for IMPROVED, SERIOUS and EFFECTIVE passenger control at airports??

I was about to mention that U-96.
Giving pilots guns is very silly IMO. I don't want some Rambo-wanna-be pilot with a nervous finger on my flight.

okay maybe my statement was out of line since i don't have the proof right now.
but look at it this way club
Pilots command technologically-advanced, multi-million dollar aircrafts that take extensive training and testing to operate. Why are we to believe that pilots cannot handle a revolver?
Which is more difficult to operate: a multi-million dollar airplane with hundreds of knobs, buttons, gauges, levers and hundreds of moving parts -- or a point and shoot revolver?
sure accidents happen. maybe a innocent person will die. but whihch number is greater? a 747 can hold 524 people and one dies, but the terrorist is stopped. hrm 524 dead or 1?
