Do you like the new feature?

***edit***
In krohn's words below, this is what I was talking about:
we were refering to the new "link cell" that greys when you are over a forum

It's cute and all but I cannot open threads in separate windows, what I do all over the internet.

I just don't like the feature anyway and find it annoying

An option to turn it off would be EXCELLENT or eliminate it altogether. Not to demean the time/effort it required or anything......

PLEASE vote, everyone must have an opinion on this matter...

Thanks,
Warthog

PS - This would be sweet to have

I Also cannot open threads in a new windows...using the shift left click method, IE 5.0
This is how I browse the entire site, hold left click, and open every thread and forum i want to visit. Now that we have the shading I can no longer do this. I have tried many times, and YES, I am holding shift, it does not work. I can still right click and open it in a new window, but this is a royal pain in my.....
I would love the option to turn it off.

LOL wart - still pushing that barrow?

I like this feature actually, but I see your prob with not opening in new windows (right click) - would be a pain if you where used to it I suppose. Maybe you can set your browser to open all lniks in new windows?

Cheers

Hey - it works for me in IE 5.5! I can either right click the link, or shift left click. If I'm just in the "linkified" (bnice word, ScottW! ) box it don't, but it does on the direct link.

Can you guys do it??

Cheers
Mick

Yup, I can do that, and I see now.....Still annoying though and not all can do that (for whatever reason).

Eyecandy doesn't do much for me.

No, does not work...have already tried this many different ways.
I would upgrade my browser if I saw a point to doing so. How does this work outside of IE?

BTW, I do think the mouse-over is cool and useful. Forgot to mention that...

Works fine in Mozilla, Konqueror and Galeon on Linux.

Just replicated krohn's prob.

For some reason, when I did the left click/holding shift, it would open a new window just fine (like I posted above), WITHOUT touching the main window (like normal).

But...when i closed out all the windows, reopened IE 5, went to techimo, and THEN tried it, it loaded the page TWICE....once in the main window and once in the new window it created.....so I was left with the same window opened twice.
