Average golf scores?

What is an average golf score on 18 holes?

Par is 72 usually. If you bogey (1 over) on each hole, you shoot 90. That is pretty good.

Myself? My best round was a 112. I have yet to break 110. That is down from 160 which was what I shot the first few times I played....

Well, the reason I ask, is my son (16) shot a 93 today after not playing but 3 times in the last 6 months and before that over a year.. he seemed to think his dad was patronizing him saying it was good..

I usually shoot an 85 - 90 on 18. My little brother (who is 13, btw) can easily shoot under par on 18. His determination to this is incredible, though.

I just wish he'd teach me how to drive the ball as far as he does..

oh yeah - 93 on 18 if you don't golf often (Often being more than once a week) is actually quite good..

I usually shoot around the 78 mark and I'm a 5 handicap.. Been playing for 22 years though (I'm 30 now). I also caddied for a Friend who plays for England amateurs at St Andrews 4 years ago. The tournament was won by none other than Sergio Gacia. He turned pro 2 months after.

I hardly get time to play now but summer is approaching and I managed to spend 5 hours today on the practice range.

The question should be how much do you spend on golf equiptment.. I shudder to think what I have spent over the last few years... I've probably been through half a dozen putters and drivers alone. Every year I seem to buy the latest and greatest gizmo that will hopefully bring my handicap down just another stoke.. Never seems to work though
