I must be a sleeping genuis.
we have dish network and i noticed the other day that I could not change channels. The remote would not work(works for the tv but not the satelite.) walked over and pushed the buttons on the box . "ERROR Panel locked" . went WTF. it was stuck on the cartoon network, said oh well I can live with that.(happened just after glo went in the hospital so I haven't been watching much.)
I called them today because i want to be able to watch the race sunday.
It would seem that somehow or another I set a parental password and locked the dang box in my sleep! I don't even know how to do it when i'm awake.
They are supposed to unlock it for me soon. (said it may take upto a 1/2 hour.
I know i used to walk in my sleep.(have even made myself breakfast and read the sunday funny's before.) but that was year's ago.
anybody else do something like this before?

I somehow managed to go to the toilet once when i was sleeping. Didn't splash a drop.
My brother does it all the time, never gets up but you can go and atlk to him while he sleeps, you learn heaps! He seems to be very facinated by airintakes on mazdas.

We had neighbours once with a little girl who walked in her sleep. She got up one night (aged about 5), unlocked the back door, and walked down the street at 2am! They woke when the heard the back door banging, went to look, couldn't find her in her room, and found her two blocks away!
Real scary for them.
Now they deadlock all the doors at night in case she does it again!
Cheers
Mick

i lso talk in my sleep. I awoke one morning and my wife asked me who "sherry " was . as close as I can figure it was a girl I went to school with, who years latter worked in the same school that we went as did I.
lucky for me what she heard me saying in my sleep was "No Sherry No"
try to explain that when you wake up and can't remember a thing. thank God I was saying no . (She was quite a looker "long leg's and built for speed")
I still tell my wife "I am not responsible for what I say in my sleep."
I just wish I could remember it. 98% of the time I can't remember any of it. I seem to lead quite a life when i'm asleep.

I remember one afternoon, CE was sleeping, when I got this call about a coupon book, that sounded really good, so I asked the lady to hold on a moment, and went in to ask CE about it. He sat up, and I discribed it to him, and he said to go ahead and get it, if it looked as good as the lady had told me, and then he layed down, and went back to sleep. When I got him up later, I told him that he could get that haircut he had been wanting (couldn't get it before, no money to spare, haircut was free with coupon). He looked at me and asked, "What coupon?" I answered, "From the coupon book you told me I could buy" he asked "What coupon book are you talking about?" That was when I knew, he had been sleeping the whole time, which was wierd, because he not only had sat up, he had his eyes wide open!

That's me to a tee. angelcat there are times i have been out of bed talking and had absolutly no idea what i have said or done.
I have gotten out of bed held 10 minute conversations with friends and they ask me later and all i can say is "I said what?" Most of them have figured it out and have fun with it.( I don't do much anymore .)
i would give answers that almost made sence. if you did not know me you would think I was awake.
What can be really scary for me is the dream's i do remember. They are so real they seem like memorys. imagine waking up and remembering cussing out your boss, and having to spend half the day sorting out what really happened the day before. (get's really freaky when parts of it really happen the next day.)
other dream's i remember are just so totally bizzare you spend a day trying to figure out what was going on.

I talk in my sleep also. It's kinda like a truth serum. Anglecat used to use that against me growing up. She could get anything out of her little sister! I don't know if I still do it, Precious (my dog) won't tell me.

I sometimes talk in my sleep. I've walked in my sleep too...once I woke up fully dressed, and I was sure I wasn't dressed when I went to bed.
Another time me and some friends went snowboarding. One of my friends woke up in the middle of the night from a thumping noise. I had ran into the wall. When he asked what I was doing I just turned towards him and growled. He was like "Hey! Cut it out man, you're freaking me out!" and I went back to bed. He told me the morning after. I had no memory of such an event.
All I can remember is I had a dream where I was playing Quake. |
