Did ya see it?! Did ya see it?!

Well...Im sure all of us know about the HUGE hype that Spider-Man has received over the past few months and today was the big opener. I was damn excited to see it. I of course just arrived back from the theatre and let me tell you guys......AWESOME!!!! Sure it didn't follow the comic book exactly but its an excellent movie. I was a bit leary about Toby Maguire getting the part but he plays the dorky character quite well. For those of you who haven't seen it yet and are wondering whether you should or not......just go see...its worth it.

Since most of us know about the whole spiderman story line Im just gonna say my fav part After he finds his Uncle killed and runs after the crook who did it, he runs down the alley and starts climbing on the wall. Mind you that is the first part of the movie where he really climbs on the walls. This part is amazing. The way they manipulated the camera angles and the way they made him look in that scene is fantastic. So fluid and so "crawly." My eyes were just agape at the site. GEEZ THIS MOVIE IS SO AWESOME!

I feel like I did when I came out of seeing Lord of the Rings... hehe

The theater I work at, there were at least 5 different theaters running nothing but Spiderman, and the one, #24 had a 700 seat capacity, and sold out several times! The managers had to add a couple more showings, just to handle the sheer amount of people comming to see that movie..............

I thought the movie was great. I'd give it a 4.5 out of 5. I thought it was a bit long in parts (some parts were too long between the action).

Very good flick. It was cool seeing it in a packed theater that seats 500. Luckily we got good seats.

I was skeptical of Kirsten Dunst as MJ. I thought MJ should have been more...demure and less kid-like, but she played it VERY well.

I liked the preview they had of the other super hero movie coming out next summer. Can't remember his name but he also resides in the Marvel universe and is a big green guy.... Hmmm. The Incredible something...

I thought the movie was pretty good. It was a lot better than most super hero movies(batman... ugh..)

I enjoyed the entire movie, but I was very disappointed with the Green Goblin's costume. He looked more like one of those bad guy cheesy monsters on the Power Rangers.

I have not followed Spiderman too much, but am I wrong to think that his name is the Hob Goblin and not the Green Goblin? I was surprised when I got to the movie.

It's the Green Goblin army man! Geesh, you military folks are all alike!

EDIT: I think the HobGoblin will be next to get his butt kicked!
I missed the previews and I keep hearing about "The Incredible Hulk" coming out Sep 2003??? Is this accurate?

Yep, Summer 2003 for The Hulk.

So there are both the Hob Goblin and Green Goblin?
