Belay That, How Many Todd's Here?
Harrrumph! While I certainly have nothing against the name of Mike, or Bob, or John, or...(actually, the only one I have a gripe with is "Aloysius",) or Patrick or (but only because I always pronounce it wrong...) any one of a (but that's a story for another time.) hundred other (providing there is no one named "Aloysius" here.) more common names. How many people here at TechIMO are named Todd ?
I have noticed a disproportionate number of Todds here, as opposed to what I've seen in other sectors of society. This puzzles me greatly, although anyone who knows me will tell you that this is not uncommon, although the name is...

Fox; Tod is a Scottish nickname meaning a clever or wily person
| My name, "John", is common...the def. was biblical and generally uninforming http://www.homepagers.com/names/

/me sheepishly raises hand.
Seems I was named after a character(Martin Milner) in the '50's TV show "Route 66", about 2 guys taking a Corvette across the USA.
An easy mid-west name to pick on in school too:
Odd Todd, even Steven.
Toddy woddy go potty on his enchiladi.
But could be worse... much worse... |
