Leather Restoration...

My brother has a 1997 Chevy Blazer LT... Nice truck. However, some parts (front seats) have been exhibiting some wear and tear to a point where you really notice it. It looks sort of wrinkled and stretched with little light/white cracks, and it really takes away from the overall look of the vehicle itself. He was talking about buying new seats, but I thought that was probably a little extreme..

Are there any tried & true products out there which will put this leather interior back into the shape it was once in? What about the "Stretched" appearance?

Thanks.

As far as the stretched appearance, not much you can do.

Got to a local farm supply store and buy some Lexol leather conditioner and cleaner (two different bottles).

Its supposed to be the best you can buy. I have read in many forums....So I bought it....Works good. May take repeated usings to get it back to its best..

Probably not....Lexol is good stuff. Use your hands to rub it in, so it builds up a little heat. The leather will absorb it better.

Possibly, but not likely...

A farm supply store should have it...

Auto parts stuff have a zillion leather refinish things....afterall, that is a big part of many cars...I dunno if they have the exact same stuff but I'm sure some high quality leather refurbisher would do the same thing.

Leather repair

I have just had my leather seats in my Mercedes Benz restored. They were dry and cracked, faded and some areas without color. I had a company called Dr. Vinyl come to my house and restore my leather seats. They did a fantastic job. They look brand new. Please check their website out www.drvinyl.com.
