Talk I BET you will recognize THIS guy!

The guy, Rick Rockwell is an instructor for Cesna and is in one of the training cds I got for my ground school of pilot training. I couldn't believe it when I saw it! My wife was sitting next to me at her system and I said, hey honey, check this out! She recognized him immediately! Anyone know where we recognized him from???

The cd will not let me take a screenshot, so I had to take one with my digital camera to get the goods for posting and emailing around.

The cds this came from are the Cessna Pilot Center's Multimedia Training System: Clearance for Takeoff.

Sorry, Dave, no idea.

He looks a bit like one our our accountants at work (nobody famous or anything ), but that's all I can see...

Cheers
Mick

edit: BTW, how much do I win for not knowing?

This guy was a comedian on a local TV show in our area in the early 80s, I think it was. Some kind of take-off on the prime time soaps of the period. There were two guys--Biff and Skippy were the character's names--he was Skippy.

I think TKOP is right, it's the "I want to marry a millionaire" guy.

Either that or it's Patrick Swayze's long lost mutant brother.

He's definitely the "Who wants to marry a millionaire?" loser...
I hope his flying skills are more adequate than his dating skills...

I remember when that "Who wants to marry a millionaire" stuff started, everyone was going, "Look! It's Skippy!"

You are right. I was one of the millions of people tht watched that trainwreck in progress. That show was so bad you couldn't look away. And I believe it started the reality TV trend we see today (survivor, big brother, fear factor and the like). It was one of the first, if not the first reality tv show.

Can't believe I have to watch that guy for this many hours...
