Enigma/Enya type groups..any suggestions?
Ive loved Enigma for years now and Enya Im starting to like more and more. Seems her stuff is growing on me oretty quickly now and it leaves me wanting more of the same type of music. For those of you who have heard and liked these two, what other groups/people can you suggest?? I want more!!!!!
I also enjoy Adiemus quite a bit.

If you like Enya, you'll like this group. The lead singer is the sister of Enya I believe. Two songs you may heard, one was on the Last of the Mohicans soundtrack and the other is the Volkswagon song. Clannad
This link you can hear the song from last of the mohicans.

Fatal,
Shows how much I know, I was convinced that Enya was the lead singer with Clannad. I did a quick search on Google and you appear to be right, her surname, Ni Bhraonáin, is the same as Marie (the lead singer of Clannad).
Tekk, as Fatal says, if you like Enya you should like Clannad.

Mmmm, just thought of another group. If you really want to stray off the beaten path, try this group. I have the "Heaven or Las Vegas" CD and it was great. Cocteau Twins
You can hear some examples of their work from here.

G | It would be interesting to hear a song with both sisters on it.

Check Gregorian if you liked Enigma (especially their first one, Mcmxc A.D.). Their latest "Masters of Chant" is really great.

Hey ND,
One thing I liked about Enigma was the accompanying music, which masters of chant didn't have (or at least the one I had). Are any of the newer ones different?

Gregorian Chant is Gregorian Chant, unaccompanied male voice, religeous singing. A little now and then is nice.
