An Ohio appellate court found that Ohio law has discriminated against their citizens by not allowing them to carry concealed weapons.

Jeff Snyder, FoxNews writer says "This ruling is a victory for the citizens of Ohio." Strong words from the normally unbiased news network (or at least a lot less biased than the other networks...)

Moreover, research by Yale University economist John Lott, and publicized in his book, More Guns, Less Crime, shows that states that have enacted concealed-carry laws have experienced a notable decrease in violent crimes against persons.

This is borne out in all States where concealed carry is allowed. Instances of crime seems to be largely unchanged but violent crime has decrease in every State that has either enacted new laws that allow concealed carry or loosened the existing laws for CCW. Fortunately, no State has made CCW more restrictive in the last few decades

Yes, you are right. Not just good news for NRA fans. Good for those who are for protection of our rights as US citizens.

Well I can mention that my wife is a fairly new CCW in our state! and I'm so proud! She doesnt carry 100% of the time but she does when she's not with me and she is out in public with our kids and such. Of course she usually has her's with her when she travels out of town. (Her family lives in another town about an hour or so away)

Its about time Ohio came around. Maybe they will start to accept the ones from my state. Of the four states around this one. Ohio wouldn't accept the ones from Indiana.

Don't get too carried away. These appelate rulings get overturned faster than an SUV. And for every judge like that, there's another one out there ready to rule that the death penalty is unconstitutional.

That's good news, but like John said, almost everytime a judge rules according to the Constitution a higher court overturns the decision. The so-called "judicial system" has raped the Bill of Rights.
