Why not use Stars

Well i was wondering why don't you use stars, i know it isn't vB but i'm sure that a TechIMO staff member can write it (this is a vB forum aswell the owner wrote a script for it http://www.MadGamers.net). Stars itself is very popular, as you can see i use the Moderator stars(my admin stars are too big) from my own forum as my avatar.
So what do you think. If you need stars then ask Barney he made lots of stars.

BTW these are the stars used on my own forum (i don't use a script but a put a img code in the titles)

Yeah Its kinda cool, But it pulls my eyes toward the edge of the screen.
We already have avatars and all the buttons, Dont you think thats enough images on a page? Even though it doesnt download them again it still takes time to load them onto the page.

I saw some stars in these forums awhile ago. They represented the rating of a thread. Probably this function is disabled now, but the image is still in the forum image directory:

GroundZero i'm not saying that you should use the DragonballZ names, you can also use only non moving stars., and BTW i disabled Avatar's on my forum, the problem is that they can't be uploaded (lycos hasn't that feature) so with all those crappy sites the forum isn't very fast, and my boards aren't already fast.
