POP UPS whiners - Deal with it!

Everybody is whining about the fact that TechIMO has popups.

Scott has to eat too. This site is FREE! Ads keep it that way. I don't see anyone whipping out their checkbook and writing a check to Scott. Keep your whining to yourself.

This is a sad post KAKnight. There are many sites out there that can survive without cheap Popup's, I don't see why TechIMO should be any different.

And just as a side note IMO stands for In My Opinion, seems like your forgot that.

You seem to be under the impression that this site is a democracy. Let me assure you it isn't. If people here do not like the way it is run, then they are free to go elsewhere.

But there is a reason why it's called IMO..

No, In My Opinion, those members who are whining about the pop-ups should DEAL WITH IT, instead of crapping a forum with their complaints.

If they could not voice their opinion, then there would be no reason to call this place TechIMO KAKanight.

On seconed thought we are dealing with it, Pop-Up Stopper is doing a great job.

For me a few minutes ago everytime I went to view or reply to a post it was throwing one up....

Scott has to support it, true.... That doesn't mean that the multitude of popups that I was getting was not annoying me...

But I am still here....If I have to deal with it, I will....

I can take the banners. But popups? They're just the most evil thing to ever emerge from the web ever. I hate them.

Popups are ok and all... but do I need one to pop up every time I open a thread? I usually open them in new windows so they can load while I read them. I oped 4 threads and get 4 popups? That's a little silly if ya ask me.
