My feeling about..............

It impossible to capture in words the feeling I have when I read the holy Quran
They are the strongest feeling that I have ever had about anything yet..........
I can't tell you what i feel like when I read or listen to the holy Quran.......
When i'm read or listen to the holy Quran it is as if I were a flower opening up my petals of life
When i'm read or listen to the holy Quran it is as if I were a bird flying freely in the clear blue sky
When i'm read or listen to the holy Quran it is as if I were the rainbow after the storm proudly showing my colors
When i'm read or listen to the holy Quran it is as if I were the waves of the ocean crashing strongly against the shore
When i'm read or listen to the holy Quran it is as if I am more stronger and every thing that is beautiful surround me
That is a very small part of how wonderful I feel about Quran but somehow words do not even begin to touch the depth of my feeling

((At last I want to say that I wrote this post to give you some informaition about the holy Quran and how it changed my life and other Muslimes lifes, so please be sure that no one of you harm my feeling and don't forget it's only a post about feeling))

I am always worried by those who put so much store by Holy scriptures, and I don't only mean the Quran.
To much suffering has been caused over the last millenia by religeous zealots who have "got a message or calling" from their Holy book, this can even happen when the Holy book in question is accepted by both sides in a religeous dispute.
Most religions preach, peace, harmony, sympathy, justice etc, why oh why cant the religeous take the meaning from these writings and not try to justify their sometimes extreme actions with some passage.

These ancient texts are good guidelines for a "decent" lifestyle, but IMHO should not be followed by rote.

In relation to your quoted passage, it seems very close in meaning to the Christian "Lords Prayer", and shows the qualities I mentioned above.

I follow no religion, but accept your right to do so if you choose, I only ask that you dont foist it on myself or others.

Every copy of the Quran I've seen has a brief note in the front of it saying that we should be accepting of others choice of religion, and not to condemn them for their beliefs, that this is the spirit of the book.

I like that. I wish they would put that note in the front of the bible too, because I get tired of people trying to force their religious beliefs on others. Even within Christianity, different sects war with each other hiding behind different parts of scripture interpreted different ways. They even kill each other. Killing in the name of the Lamb of God.

Blessed are the meek for they shall inherit the earth? What ever happened to that? When did it change to "follow my beliefs or I'll kill you."

Don't take this the wrong way but from what I've studied in History Muhammid or whoever it was that wrote the Quran was a heavy user of some sort of Amphetimine that was abused quite a bit back in his time.. thus the reason for his adventure and hallucinations about Allah in the desert when he started the Quran..

Personally if it is true what is written about the being acceptive of others beliefs then most the Muslims out there are about as bad as Christians... waging "Holy Wars" killing innocent people because they believe in a different religion..

Maybe what the Middle East needs is a big REVIVAL!! or atleast reminder of what they are claiming to believe..

As far as myself I believe in God and that Jesus died for my sins.. BUT I will in no way force, or fight with someone to believe what I do as I expect the same from others.. I don't believe in organized religion as I see it as a flaky business now days that feeds off a person's instinctive fear of death..

I believe I show people what I believe by just treating them the same way I wish to be treated and if they believe in the Quran, or Buddah, or whatever... Hey, you're still alright with me.. I just don't have alot of respect for people who judge others based on their opinions much less try to kill them.. no matter if they claim to Christians, Muslims, etc..... is that how you represent your God?
