People sit back and think about it. We the users will be paying for the updates. M$ will set back and rake in more of our hard earned money that way.
I bet it gets set up as a pay per play site. You check for updates. If you have any. Then you pay so much for each one. A nice big box will jump up saying. Insert CC number# ________HERE.
If you are lucky a set of lips will appear after the down load and say thanks. But I wouldn't bet on them being nice enough to do that.
I think this is going to be bad.
Then what is next?

Nah. They'd just give it as their excuse for upping the price of windows $200 or so.
