Of course. It's called touch typing...and if you're looking at keys then you ain't touch typing. Simple as that.
It wouldn't do me much good to look at my keys anyways since most the letters are worn off. My home keys ( asdf jkl; ) are completely gone without a trace. |

Yeah, touch typing here for the most part...
I have to look with numbers, etc. but I do it so fast you can't tell
I do a modest 80-90wpm.....if I'm thinking while I'm typing, it's more like 60

Yeah, I'm a pretty fast two finger typist too - even though I say it myself!
I just hate those pathetic keyboards you get on some hand held scanner type things that have the keys listed A, B, C etc. I'm forever looking for the next letter. Why do they make them like that, to annoy me I think.
edit - yes, I have to look at the normal keyboard when two finger typing -edit

I can type fairly quickly, and with few mistakes, but I generally have to look down a lot. But, I am improving every day!

LOL Eddy, that's only when it's around 6 am and you've been up for 32 hours and have consumed around 25pints of beer. ROFL
I think I am a decent typer, of course when typing on the internet I have a lot of stuff going on and I think a lot. (Hard to believe, eh?)
When typing something for school I am flying, hardly ever look at the keyboard. Always looking at the monitor.
