I'm actually asking this for a an old friend who's been caught in the IT downturn, and is practically a legend in the field. He's been Dilberted and is looking for a gig, either as an emplyee or on contract. His resume in the field is more than 20 years long and has some pretty impressive things on it.

Know of anything? He's willing to relocate most anywhere.

Hey Tom, you're in Dayton, is your friend as well? - isn't L-N (lexis-nexis) headquartered there? - They always seem to be hiring IT guys - (I work for a subsidiary - and I'm always seeing job postings for Dayton, although I'm in Philly)
