Allright, Mick! At last, we have something to disagree on!
You're dealing with an Irishman, here, and our music is dear to us...so I will proceed to kick your Saurean butt (cheerfully, and with a friendly wink!)
Seriously, Vass, there is quite a bit of the Artistry of the Son's of Erin out here...Try looking up the work of a guy named
Richard Searles.... very beautiful music.
Also, if you can locate old Whaler's tunes, (Mystic Seaport is a good venue,) you'll find an extraordinary vein of "Irish Blues"....these guys went to sea in search of whales, vis-a-vis gainful employment, and came back with some ASTOUNDING songs!
This music is the greatest "get to work" music ever....once you hear it, you'll see what I mean.
Go for it! And ENJOY, buddy!
Oh, and Mickwish..j/k...No, I'm not!
