Gave blood today.
Gave blood today at school at 11:00am. This was my second time, and it wasnt as fun as my first time. Got up, walked over to a table after being patched up and my tummy started hurtin' then everything got really wierd, almost passed out. Got everything straightened out though. And btw, i can save as many as 3 lives with my donation! Yah!And if you can give please do. It only hurts for like 2 seconds, and if i can take the pain, so can you!!

I gave blood a few weeks ago. Normally I am fine afterwards, but after this time I felt queezy and almost threw up, wasn't a good experience at all.

That's kinda rare isn't it? Certainly not common, at least I don't think so. My mother is something totally weird like AB-.
In the world of blood O+ is anything but unique. In fact I believe it's the most common type (with O- being second...is that correct?) But should one ever find one's self in need of lots of blood in a hurry, unique is not something to strive for.

I was mistaken about O- being second... U.S. Blood-type Distribution: O+ 38% of population A+ 34% of population B+ 9% of population O- 7% of population A- 6% of population AB+ 3% of population B- 2% of population AB- 1% of population

O+, while being the most common, is a bit strange in the fact that, people with O+ blood type, can only recieve O+ blood, while O+ blood can be given to other types. Now, a little hint for those who get queasy and lightheaded, eat before you go in. That will help with the queasy feeling. I recieved my second gallon pin, shortly before being diagnosed with Diabeties, and can no longer donate To my regret...................
