I was in NYC for a few weeks last month but I never got a chance to see the 'beams'. I think it's a great memorial.

Had a picture of them as my desktop for a few weeks now, I think it would be a fine permanent memorial.

I see them every time i drove home from school on the parkway.
My friend and I went into the city one day a few weeks ago when the lights were up and visited Ground Zero.
It pretty much closed off now, and the lights are actually emitted from a nearby lot a block or a few away because they are still doing cleanup work at that location.

The location of that pic looks like Hoboken NJ, across the Hudson, where several of my friends attend school (and hence had first row seating to the WTC attack).

The lights are an amazing site to see firsthand.

Hey, I didn't know I had a Mod as a neighbor. I'd better behave in town.

Anyhows, seem to blend into one when I get to see them (from Manhattan). Haven't seen it for several days now, but I'l try to look tonite.We went from Winter which was like Fall to Summer a couple of days.

Don't know how long they'll be up.
