Link of the day..80's mall arcades

Those of us crusty old farts(30-45) will remember the school bell ringing , hopping on our bikes, and cruising to the local mall for the arcade fun and girls after school. Got your quarters and tokens?

*Advisory*
35 mb download, but worth every minute of it if you pine for the glory days, or just are curious about the fogies who actually had video games as a social event, not an isolated TV/PC home activity.

Here.

P.S. Best to right-click and "save target as" to your HD. it's a keeper anyways.

Yep, I remember the days. If I could do it over again, the only changes I'd make would be that I wouldn't have dated the pyscho girlfriends I had.
Wow, download finished before I finished this. I love my cable modem.

Just finished watching it, kewl.
I played all those games they showed. I still play them whenever I find an arcade that has them. And dang it, now I'm gonna have to go buy Dragon's Lair for my PC. Of course I'll have to also get Atari's greatest hits.

Hey Imperion where can you get dragon's lair for pc? I was looking just a short time ago, but had no luck. I read an article about them releasing a new dragons lair or something like that soon, I can't remember now.
That was a great clip, but it made me really sad.
There are no arcades these days, and the ones around have crappy games that are all the same, plus cost 1-2 bucks to play.
They had a lot of the great games (although, I didn't see elevator action), but how about some of the classics from the next generation up from those pictured.
I'm thinking of some of my favorites, like xybots and ninja gaiden (the arcade version, not the crappy home version) or narc.

What are some favorites for other people?
