NEWS BULLETIN: Geekonics now a recognized language

Saying it will improve the education of children who have grown up immersed in computer lingo, the school board in San Jose, Calif., has officially designated computer English, or "Geekonics", as a second language.

The historic vote on Geekonics -- a combination of the word "geek" and the word "phonics" -- came just weeks after the Oakland school board recognized black English, or Ebonics, as a distinct language. "This entirely reconfigures our parameters," Milton "Floppy" Macintosh, chairman of Geekonics Unlimited, said after the school board became the first in the nation to recognize Geekonics.

"No longer are we preformatted for failure," Macintosh said during a celebration that saw many Geekonics backers come dangerously close to smiling. "Today, we are rebooting, implementing a program to process the data we need to interface with all units of humanity."

Controversial and widely misunderstood, the Geekonics movement was spawned in California's Silicon Valley, where many children have grown up in households headed by computer technicians, programmers, engineers and scientists who have lost ability to speak plain English and have inadvertently passed on their high-tech vernacular to their children.

Warning to all computer geeks: Speak English!

As if the educational facilities in CA weren't weird enough to begin with... Give me a break. This isn't good news, this is sad. Although I've heard worse from CA, this isn't making them look good. Ebonics is a huge joke and to make it an official language is mind boggling. How hard can an ebonics/geekonics test be? After all, they are slight modifications on the English language. Since you already know 99% of the language before you take the course what do you hope to learn? I'm sure ebonics has its own numbering system: "One, too, free, fo, fi, six, sevn, ate, ny, ten" and geekonics too: "0001, 0010, 0011, 0100, 0101, 0110, 0111, 1000, 1001, 1010" SOOOOOO SAD God help us.

Have you read my various writings (e.g. "How to get two salaries with one Job" or such) to learn about the $12 Billion Public School system here in NYC , which is run for personal gain by a private organizaton , the 'Unity Caucus' "Family" , which also runs the United Federation of Teachers as a "cash cow" ?

"Minority education" is a very profitable business.

Except for the Children and their Teachers.

Are the Oakland Teachers forced to pay "dues" to a private organization to hold their jobs?

Both a Black Journalist (Myers) and a White Mayor (Bloomberg) came to the same conclusion : that Parents are being lied to about their Children's progress, and the Parents don't have the gumption to bother to find that out.

I wondered when I heard about the California schools why they weren't in jail. Isn't embezalment and extortion against the law there? Or did hollywood repeal those laws?

Just kidding, but serious about the level of stupidity. Those are public and private funds that are being stolen (for lack of a better term) from the children of the school district. Come on people, we can do better than this. Can't we?

I wrote to the Ass. Attorney General for Civil Rights, Dept. of Justice, about a monumental theft of monies going into the Division of Special Education which spends 22% of the $12, 000, 000,000 NYC Boerd of Education (BOE) budget. One quarter of the BOE is Federally funded and Special Education is much higher under the Individual Differences Education Act (IDEA).

Hon. Jeriamy Glassman's office wrote to me that they had sent my complaint the Department of Education (DOE) for review. Much later, I get a letter from DOE with the procedures wherein I 'm supposes to hire lawyers to take on the BOE lawyers and the NYC Corperate Council which is required to defend the BOE --NO MATTER WHAT .

Of course the 'Unity Caucus', a private org five decades strong, which runs both the BOE and the Teachers non-Union would pull the puppets in our city Gov't.

The interesting part is I had contacted Rep. Chaka Fattah in Philadelphia because he had called on Attorney General (AG) Ashcroft to investigate Special Education because it has been documented that Afro-American (and Latino) youths are grossly overrepresented in this Con nationwide. He suggested I write to the AG.

And I am supposed to do the work of the DOJ and DOE in pursuing theft of taxpayers monies and theft of childrens' education. I indicated I could name names and give affidavit as to specific facts to document the foregoing as well as giving same in letter.

Your taxmoney at theft.
