This could improve mileage on a car that is overcarbureted (too much air entering the intake) or maybe had a malfunctioning throttle body (poor atomization due to leakage?). In either event, you'd be seing that check engine light.

Otherwise it's junk.

Properly designed modern engines have all the swirl in the induction system that they need. The real key to good atomization is clean fuel injectors and proper swirl in the combustion chamber (That's designed in.)

This might help a bit in a car that has been over-geared, and boggs a bit, but any extra restriction like this ultimately hurts top end.

Agree w/Cadd

This is ONLY good on Carburetor'd engines.

The airflow on a carb pulls the fuel into the intake by two means, venturi action on the main jet and float boal pressure from the air vents.

Alignment of the air by the Tornado "might" help a little..

On a fuel injected engine, nada, nothing, waste of money as the fuel is pressurized into the engine either from a Throttle Body injector, port injector, or direct injection.

Your money is better spend on a low-restriction air filter such as K&N.
