Can't quit laughing! My encounter with a cop
So, I was walking back to my car today on campus, and apparently my parking meter had ran out. There was a cop writing me a ticket. I was far away, so for some reason I started running to get closer. (Like this might help?)
By the time I got close, he put the ticket on my car. I said, "Oh man, you ruined my day!" He went ahead and walked to his car, so I figured I was still far enough away that my voice didn't carry.
I guess I was wrong. He got in his car, rolled down his car window, and he said, "What did you say?" At this point, I though 'uhoh I'm in trouble'.
So, I said, laughing, "I was just kidding, I said you ruined my day." He said, "Ok, give me the ticket, and I"ll void it. I'd hate to ruin your day." So, in my stupid ditzy voice, I said "REALLY?" He said yes, and I gave him back my ticket, as I gushed "thank you!!!"
heheheheheheheheheh

Heh, if I'd have done that, he probably would have found something else to ticket me for for being "lippy"!

[Note to self: Geekgrl must be a cutie.]
Well, either the cop is a sucker for a cute face or that Wicca stuff is really starting to pay off. uT

Just noticed Geekgrl is from Kentucky - The Southern Belle looks, the Southern Drawl, and those dangerous female sneaky ways.... Quite the dangerous combination! |
