No not at all!
Scott had to start from scratch and recode everything. There are similarities because Scott changed to the new BBS software before getting word of his untimely layoff. The entire site is new and much more developed comparatively.
Basically, the old site's heart and soul was found in its membership which gathered because of the leadership core of the site and their dedication to a good, clean and fair forum with great, timely information. It was also one of the first pioneering sites to fully cover overclocking. When Scott and the rest of the staff was forced to leave, the rest of us were compelled to follow since the site was not the reason for going there. It was the people who began with the leadership. (I speak of myself as a user and poster instead of a mod because I am a veritable newbie to the site compared to the peopel I am really speaking about here).
Scott began restoring some ppl's registration date. Hence mine saying something liek Sept 99. He found that to be kinda time consuming, so he just concentrated on names, profiles and post counts.
So, in a nutshell, this is not a cut and paster. It was alot of work and truly shows the dedication of the top brass of the site and the visitors for banding together and regrouping here.
