Have you registered your soldering gun yet ?

Check THIS out.

Looks like our Northern neighbors can't seem to elect non-stoopid leaders too. Must be a common problem.

It is good to see that some have some sense when it comes to gun control. The liberal nations of the world are puching for us to fall in line with them. It is good to see people rebel against the taking away of our basic rights. Two of my favorite quotes:

"They that can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety" -Ben Franklin

"There are more instances of the abridgment of the freedom of the people by gradual and silent encroachment of those in power than by violent and sudden usurpations." James Madison

Gun Control means using both hands.

No mikey76, Gun control is the ability to hit ones target.

you should try to register a black head gun lol

i can understand control against carrying firearms in public like you can in the US....... seems like it's asking for trouble. but taking away a guy's gun when it's in his home is just stupid.

i'm in western Canada, they have extended the deadlines to register about 4 times now and STILL nobody is registering, shops in the country side don't even check for ID because they are against the law too, where my uncle lives the police actually have no power. if they say something stupid like get out of the car you just say no then he leaves or if they try to confiscate your hunting rifle in your truck you can tell them to F off and they will.

registering with that gun thing gives the cops legal right to search your home for no given reason just because you registered the gun.... that is why nobody is registering.

This is what i think about gun control:

first the government is gonna try and get everybody to register them like theyre doing now. then a few years after everybody registers, they are gonna say "oh look, we just found out guns are dangerous and you cant play with them anymore" so then they take everybody's guns. well, the criminals, etc., who dont care about the law and never registered their guns will still have guns while the poor defensless law-abiding civilian will be easy pickin's for the criminals. then we are all screwed...

i own a lot of guns and if it ever came to national confiscation of them, i would run away to africa or siberia, or somewhere...

siberia is cold and full of communists, wrong way!

that's exactly how i feel, if i wanted to i could LITERALY go to a guy i know and buy a deasert eagle off him for $2000 CDN
not a bad deal really considering that they cost $1200 USD ($1800 CDN) which is small percent markup compared to most illegal things (like drugs)
my point is that criminals HAVE GUNS, they are not legal but they have them! if the government takes our defence away it just asks for crime to skyrocket. if you knew that the house you were breaking into didn't have a gun you would be more likely to do it knowing that you yourself are carrying a piece.

damn laws ENCOURAGE crime!

i actually did an essay on this last year in social class and i got 100%

I saw a tv special regarding gun confiscation in Australia. Crime has shot up (don't rememeber how many 100s %), but the main stream press does not report this simple fact. Bad guys who know you don't have guns to protect yourself and home no longer wory about you shooting them when they break in.
