I have the most beautiful book, "Paintings in the Louvre" by Lawrence Gowing...he provides excellent commentary on the all the works, plus it's really BIG!! Highly recommended.

AARRGGHH!! MY EYES! Now i'm going to have to go peruse for some porn to get those awfull pics out of my minds eye.

I must say I'm not much of an art critic, but some of the collections in the virtual tour are fascinating - try the Roman antiquities. Real culture here!

Nice find, I'm gonna print some of those for keepers.

Once upon a time someone told me you couldn't print photos off the web cuz of the 72dpi resolution.

WRONG!

I've printed lots of stuff from www.nasa.gov with fantastic results.

The pics of our solar system and several from the Hubble space telescope are wonderful, no sign of grain..

Nice. What do you people think about the glass piramide? I just hate it. blocks the view on a nice old building. IMO it clashes.
