like where do you get these articles about news and stuff? do you have like reporters or do you copy it off other sites or what?

As far as I know, all articles and news on this site is user submitted. There are designated contributors of course, that obviously will post more than the average user.

We use for the most part VBulletin and other goodies such as PhpNuke, PostNuke, VbPortal, Maxwebportal(asp) for CMS (Content Management Systems) Then of course it helps to have some traffic to your site and have members submitting News tid-bits and such to help the site stay "fresh"
