I hate the X-box

I was playing my friend's xbox on his 61" tv on four player halo and the graphics were HORRIBLE and the frame rates were LOW. I couldn't see very far in front of me at all, all I saw were big fat scan lines on the screen with no detail whatsoever. He got mad at me when I said "Hey chris, are you the blue pixel or the red pixel" and we started the PC vs. console wars again. I will never buy a console again. Racing games on consoles also suck. The draw distance may be "infinite" but there aren't enough pixels on the screen to show it. It's really tough when you're doing 150mph and you can't see 50ft in front of you!!!

did your friend drop his Xbox or something? most of them don't have that much of a lag issue

Well, I wouldn't go as far as saying that consoles are that bad. The TV might have been a factor, for one...

well actually consoles DO suck but lag is not why

It must have been the TV.....61" is quite HUGE anyway......

I've played X-Box and Halo quite significantly. Sure, the graphics for Halo aren't top notch....but if it's compared to other games that have wide-open spaces (like Operation Flashpoint), it kicks their @$$ in graphics.

I've played at a friends house. It wasnt THAT bad. We were using a small tv too. I think it was smaller than 27"
