need help with sexism in video games

I am working on a paper for an english class on sexism in video games. I am stuck I have Tomb Raider, Duke Nukem, Leisure Suit Larry. Can anyone think of any others. Would prefer to stay away from console games.Thanks

Sexism? Call it whatever.... but I am female, and cannot be offended by video games. They put a female who is attractive, shapely, intelligent, and can kick butt all in one character. Now, that's the power of women.

How about all of the sword and sorcery titles?? Nearly every one of them uses a male hero, and a female (if present) is along only as a side kick/plot point.

Like the ultima games... (not certain if thats the series i'm thinking of...)

Or the early karate style games (street fighter, mortal combat).

You had to look hard to find the women in those games.

Umm...I hope you are taking the video games sides!

I saw an article claimintg Dead or Alive was sexist. While you won't have problems with claiming any game to be sexist, there are major counterpoints in each scenario.

They also claimed DOA was racist because everyone in there is white. I say it is too. I call it JAPANEESE!!! Not many black people live in Japan...

People look way to deep into some stuff IMO. It's just a game, but I know how you feel having to write a paper on something like that. sooo....

Half-Life: Best seller. Did you ever see a women in that game? Are the sinister people at Valve saying women aren't as smart as men, and so they can't work at a black mesa type place!?! (oh wait the black ninja people are girls, but they were mindless killing machines). Is this best selling game teaching todays children wrong themes? (I am tottaly just giving ideas, and take no offense since I think that would be silly to even think about).

Sports games: I can't think of one women in a sports game!! What is this! Women want to play those too!
