I've seen it all!

I've got a customer here in Florida (down for the winter) who has me upgrading a couple of computers for her.

I noticed the power supply fan wasn't turning when I was cleaning out the insides. I pulled the power supply apart and found a freakin' rotting carass of a 4" lizard stuck in the fan . That's nasty.

Does anyone else have any strange things they've found inside a computer (other than the typical roach or Intel Inside )?

Mike

That's rather disturbing. Hmm...Why didn't the PSU work again?

My sights haven't been that strange. The worst I've seen are a couple spider webs.

There's a small utility called something like "coffee cup holder" which just ejects the CD drive so you can you your cup thru the centarl hole.

Just thought of it. Silly program. All it does is eject actually.

Saw a pic of a powersupply that blew pretty dramatically with sparks and actual visual flame---guy had a pic of the opened p/s with a fat flamebroiled mouse right in the center of it---(he had permanently removed the grill from it, bad move)
