Anyone have a tattoo?

Anyone have a tattoo? I just got one and love it. It is a smiley face (my trademark) about the size of a half dollar that is on my belt line.

More than one person around here has a tat or two. You'll even find some of them in the gallery.

I've got one on each shoulder, one on my forearm and one on my chest.
For a beginner it is usually recommended to stay clear of thin tissue areas that are directly over bones and areas that have high concentrations of nerves close to the surface (the center area of the chest and the small of the back for example).

Hee hee I thought you'd never ask!!

This is my left arm

I kinda want to get the big one flipped upside down and have it on the top of my shoulder and come down from the top to meet the other one...

but my b/f is totally wigged out about the idea.... hee hee...

Nice one, surreal!

And amen to what crystaldragon said about the painful areas. Another place is the sof skin that doesn't see much sun, like the insides of your arms.

One of mine comes in toward my inner arm. The closer the artist came with the gun, the worse it hurt. My boss recently got a band all the way around one of his forarms....he's a big tough guy, and he said he was fighting back tears!

I'll see if I can get some pics of mine sometime.

yeah I've heard that too
well considering there's probably the equivalent of asingle layer of skin before I hit my shoulderblade I'm gonna be hurtin'
(not much meat there!! LOL)

Surreal - that top design reminds me of a particular artist. He was a large HIV/AIDS activist untill his death from it. I cannot remember his name. Do you know who I am talking about? He was big in the early 90s. Anywat that top tat remids me of his work.
