Cookin Tips?
Hiya, me and friend are planning an experement!
Just want to know, has anyone here tried to toast a steak? We have a toaster and a steak! We want to combine the two. I got the idea from Freakys Avatar.
Do you think there should be any mods made to the toaster. Its just a stock standard 2 bay.
I am a little worrried about adding the steak sauce to it while its cooking, you recon that a safe idea?

No, No, No!!!! Safety First!!! Amt of fluid in steak + toaster = electrical problems.
not to mention the possibility of electrocution.
I'm sure your creative mind can come up with another, more festive idea.

Dont know about cooking steak in the toaster.
But you can make pretty good garlic bread.
Spread the garlic butter on the bread slice, then bung it in the toaster!
Does fizz and smoke a bit. But tastes good!
R. Dont let it burn. LOL!

Never Forget, Safety First!!!!!! | Plus the grease from the steak can flame up. Be careful with this...

The Burning Cat goes to the store to buy a toaster.
"Could you give me a recommendation on the best kind of toaster for cooking a steak?" he asks the salesman.
The salesman rubs his eyes, and sees that BC is quit serious, and says, " A CHEAP one."
LOL!

How about making a grill cheese with an iron. Wrap the grill cheese in foil and press it with the iron. It will be alot safer than cooking a steak in a toaster

OK, how bout this one......
wrap well in aluminum foil and run through the dishwasher with heat cycle on!!!!
I've heard this being done with fish, so I'm sure a steak foil bag thing might work.
(and no, mitts won't help----safety first)

(and no, mitts won't help----safety first) | Maybe you could steam some veggies in there also and have a full course meal!
