Kids What Bicycle brand is good?

I am looking at getting a good all around mountain bike and wanted to see what you all thought was a good brand or make.

I don’t want something that will cost me over $400 but it must have front suspension and an aluminum alloy frame.

I might buy one before Sunday the 17th so let me know ASAP !

I have a aluminum framed Marin its a smaller company out of California. Specialized and GT have good reps as do Trek and Cannondale but those are usually more expensive. You might want to get the best bike you can get with aluminum frame and add the shocks later down the line

i got my bike from London Drugs for $150 Canadian

it's super light, probably about 15lbs or so, the good kind of brakes, 26" rims, 21 gears with the good kind of gear switch

the only reason i don't use it is because i was going off jumps with my buddy Olaf and he launched off and hit the front wheel into a rut. he feel off onto his face and my rim was totaly f***ed while he was laughing his head off about how much he screwed up my rim i was super pissed and never got to getting a new rim.... oh well.

I like the Treks... especially the Gary Fisher series... I have one and it is around 4 years old! I cant bring myself to replace it (but I have parts, many... hehehe)- I like it that much. Aside from Treks, I would say Cannondale- great street and mtn bikes!!!

Have fun

I've got a Specialized Hard Rock Classic. My bike is almost identical to this one, but mine has a polished and clearcoated frame. It's really light with front suspension. I picked it up at a bike show for $250 (last year's model).

I think that would be your best bet, look for dealers clearing out last year's models, you can save some big bucks that way

I'd highly reccomend a Giant Rainier SE...
I have the 2000 model, it's awesome for about $650 or so.(I know, out of your range, but you already got one ) For the price, you can't get a better bike, 27 speed, Deore components all around, Marzoochi Z5 air fork, disc brakes front and back....can't go wrong for the money.
