TechIMO or ResellerRatings??

OK. Now don't get me wrong. It's great that ResellerRatings is up and running and back with ScottW.

But how come I'm now getting emails telling methere are posts in ResellerRatings.com forum that I've subscribed to? When I have never (yet) visited ResellerRatings? And when I go to them they are TechIMO forum posts I have subscribeg to, but on a RESELLERRATINGS WEBPAGE PAGE???

What gives?

I have my TechIMO emails configured to go into a TechIMO folder. Now I'm messed up. Can someone help me, please? Without violence or medication?

Now even more confusing - I'm posting this from ResellerRatings. I just got an email from TechIMO about a post in a thread which I also just got an email from ResellerRatings from (different posts, same thread)? really now!!!

Boy, am I going insane or what???

I think it might be something to do with the Forums' Header naming convention... i.e.,

TechIMO and ResellerRatings Community

and

ResellerRatings - Shopping and Trading

which consists of the forums inside those headers. So, if you're subscribed to a thread in those forums, it would show an email from RR.

Well socal, the point is they are all IMO community threads, viz: Beat The Guy Above and New Admin?.

And I had never even visited ResellerRatings (have now ). Maybe the guys that posted those posts did it from ResellerRatings???

It thinks it's a kinda bug - at least an unexpected phenomena from my perspective.

how is the rule enforced?
Is it by the subject line?
I mean what is the rule you have setup to make it automatically move to the next folder.

Is it by email address?
Whatever the rule is, you may have to modify it... or add another.. since they are still threads you are subscribed to I wouldn't say they are large bugs... they just link to a different version of the same page

Another thing I noticed at ResllerRatings forum. No avatars. They are disabled by default so you have to enable them again via userCP if you wanna see them.

BTW, that's not a complaint, just an observation.

edit: can't seem to keep avatar display to "on". It resest to off. Maybe we can't use avatats there?? Or is this a bug??

I'd guess your idea above was correct, that they were posted from the RR side of the site
