Yeah it is about time. The Brits seemed to have forgotten what it means to have individual freedom and individual responsiblity. They are much better than the French, but still borderline socialist. BTW, they do have some of the finest special operations forces in the world.

All the public services such as health, education and transport are on the decline due to private contractors running them. I believe the state should run these essential services and not these greedy scum who are only out to make a fast buck. Tony has SOLD OUT!!

Yeah, the govern't should do everything for us. I think they should do our banking and handle all our money issues. We don't need paychecks anyways. And they should take care of our kids. And fix us dinner. Iron our clothes. And get rid of all these confusing channels on the TV...just give us one govt channel of what they want us to see, that's good enough for me. We should live our lives on a "need to know" basis. Thank God, ooops, I mean thank government that Socialism is the dominant form of governing peoples on this planet. I always said that Capitalism was a dead end street.

I think me detects a hint of sarcasm...I'm talking about essential services.
Why should an old woman of 70 years old have to wait for hours in a hospital corridor just because the hospital has to cut costs?
Why should kids get a second rate education because the school do not have the resources?
Why does industry have to suffer because of an under funded transport infrastructure?
