Just thought I'd breath a sigh of relief. It's been a trying month for me. My ex fiance & I had broken up & she had a restraining order placed on me for calling the Division of Family Services about her leaving her young kids home for up to 7 hours at a time. I wouldn't of had any problem w/ that but we recently bought a house together & if she had gotten the order of protection I would have lost any say in the house. The judge today said she had not made her case so he couldn't justify an order of protection. He asked me if I would stay away for 90 days & I agreed b/c I have no problems w/ that. Now I still have a say & a chance to purchase her half of the house. The next few months will be trying for the both of us b/c we have to work out the details of who gets the house etc. This would have been so much easier if we had been married, at least in my opinion. Well live & learn is my motto now.

Sounds like you got through a tough situation, with a few more to go.... Try to keep your chin up. Time does heal all wounds, and we can learn from things like this.

OK - So it took me more than once, but when I look back on it - I can laugh at myself, and I guess because I can, I'm not too jaded about a few bad experiences...
