P.S. The Unity Caucus is in the market to sell three wholly -owned office buildings in trendy, expensive Park Avenue South at a considerable profit.
Of course, as a Non-profit Organization it fronts the UFT [Teacher's "union"], whose members have no choice under an arrangement with local politicians but to pay "dues" to it. In fact, non-members are also required to pay ..errr"agency fees" to it.
Which means it doesn't have to pay any Capital Gains Tax on the profits from the three office buildings.
The Teacher's, however, are paid about 30 %
less than surrounding Counties and have 30 plus children to the classroom as opposed to fifteen in the surroundings.
Anybody ever have to pay a Capital Gains Tax ?
Hmmm..I guess you didn't have the right "family business"
DOOOG
P.S. The actual ratio of Teachers to stidents is also 15 -to 1 in the NYC BOE. Wondering where the
other fifteen per class went ? Don't ask it's other Business venture, the BOE. They cannot "count up" how many Teachers they employ, let alone where they are.
Seems like there are three computer systems that cannot communicate with one another. A Chancellor, figured out in public that they must have been designed that way. After he was fired , he returned to CA.
Hmmm...is there a better public school system in CA ?
