My mother thinks I shouldn't quit my current job and go back to school full time. So she was ranting at me and telling me what a bad wife I was since I am won't be helping my husband pay the bills. So, she told me I needed to get my ducks in a row.
I didn't know I had ducks!! If anyone sees my ducks, please send them home!

Troy Aikman is the former quarterback for the Dallas Cowboys. However, when he was in high school he won a state competition in typing. He was the fastest, most accurate typist in Oklahoma. He could have gotten a job as a typist anywhere. But since he was also a pretty good quarterback he decided to go play football in the NFL. Though he was the best typist, he could make more money as a quarterback.

Funny my mother never says anything about ducks. Maybe I don't have any?!?! What she does say though "If you had a husband.................." what I hear "blah blah blah blah" No ducks, but she seems to think I am missing a husband. So if anyone finds him please send him back. Can't give a description since I wasn't aware he existed. I would offer an award but I'm not certain he's valuable.

Draboo- I was joking. Mothers always seem to know whats best for us. I think they have a hard time letting go.

I agree with Sanman, what does you husband think. Going back to school is always a good idea, but the whole family needs to be committed to it.

You mentioned that you have bills that need to be paid. I would check to see where exactly the bills are. All of the ducks I've ever seen have had the bills attached squarely on the front of their face. Logic would seem to dictate that if you find the bills, the ducks won't be far behind.

So if we follow the twisted logic here, (and you know mine is twisted like a pretzel, and salted, too!) it would appear that in order to help with bills, you gotta have some ducks.
