Techimo having problems?

The site has been very slow recently sometimes not comming up at all. I got an error about too many users:

Quote:
Warning: Too many connections in /usr/www/users/techimo/forum/admin/db_mysql.php on line 38

There seems to have been a slight problem with the database.
Please try again by pressing the refresh button in your browser.

An E-Mail has been dispatched to our Technical Staff, who you can also contact if the problem persists.

We apologise for any inconvenience.
Anyone else having problems?

I was reindexing the search index but it brought down the server because too many punks were trying to run searches while I was doing it . I took search offline and am running the reindex now. I had to clear the index earlier today due to the posting problem that our host caused (when they fixed the PHP security bug announced today).

arghhh hate indexes

They're WONDERFUL to have... but can be SUCH a pain in the a** LOL

We had some foxpro databases that got too big... I had to stay late after work EVERY night to reindex
