I've been to Breckenridge about 3 times.
Nice mtn, remember the deli at the bottom of the mtn named "The 10,000 Ft Club" ?
I think Breckinridge has the highest base camp of all Colorado slopes.
Have ya tried Steamboat Springs yet ?
We've been there about ten times.
After the first couple we discovered the Lodge "Storm Meadows"
Those are the ones On-Slope, the first Lodge to the Left as you go uphill.
The bldg 300 & 400 are premium, very easy access..
Prior to some idiots running over people getting to the ski-in ski-out lodge, you literally could ski right up to the door.
One lucky year we were in bldg 300 on the bottom floor to the left of the slopside entrance. We'd ski up to our balcony, step over and right into the room

Next morning, step back over the rail and push off to the lifts '

' Neato !
The Black runs to the far right of the mtn, all have Indian names . Tomahawk etc ?
Anyway, I'm certain we approached 100 mph on these runs more than once '

'
After slowing waaaaay down and rounding a corner where the bottom slopes converge there was a slow sign with a dude there sporting a RADAR GUN.
We wheeled over after seeing him clock us and he said we were doing a bit over 55mph '

'
Keystone was the most disappointing of all the Colorado slopes, next time ya go out check out Copper Mtn,, REASON ? Lift ticket pricing and it is a very HUGE well kept slope, almost as big as the Big Boys.
The lift ticket pricing is like $30 per day when ya get a 3-day pass at the Safeway Grocery store.
If you're going out on a budget, the town of Frisco has a bunch of little Mom & Pop motels at very good rates, it's a short drive from there to all the major slopes.
you make me jealous '
