Outdoors Who killed Laura Palmer ?

Find out thisFlick.

I thought this was a brilliant movie--but "the critics" disagreed and the critics won.

The David Lynch movie tanked like in three days.

I only grabbed at at a clearance sale for $3 at a video store and have seen it about five times since ! Fascinating prequel to the series.

Missed the latest David Lynch movie,Mulholland Drive so I catch it on DVD. It's times like that I'm glad I hooked up DVD to Stereo. Try it if you don't have it. Difference in some movies is amazing.

True, some movies like Black Hawk Down you have to see on the big screen. But I'm tired of spending $9.50 X 2 to smuggle in food/drinks to listen to people "talk to the screen" and pop corn crackling --plus there is always one couple who talks through the whole movie.

I prefer to see movies that are largely attended by "older people" as they are usually good neighbors ! Usually just rent DVD at save my bucks and my patience !

I don't know what the shipping is, but if you haven't seen this film, spring for it or cost-share with some pals as equally smart as Techmolians are justly renowed to be .

And learn , "Who killed Laura Palmer?"

Wow...that takes me back! About 12 years, as I recall.

We never ever ever missed that show. Ever. Too bad that the series tanked. It was one of the most artistic and thought provoking ever.

Unfortunately, there were a lot of parts that the critics didn't understand. What they really didn't understand was that parts were supposed to be mystic and unknowable.

But for some people, things always must come in neatly wrapped packages to be respected. Even so, the movie wrapped things up pretty well after the show was canceled.

Two thumbs up.

Did David Lynch do the Wild Palms miniseries ? Hmm.. Gotta find that again.

Never watched the Twin Peaks TV series..tend to dislike anything with commercials and for many years I refused to have a TV set. Most of TV was --and is--moronic.

But then, How would I know, I never watch TV ?

Except for X-Files
And I watched Land's End about Baja California--also a Chris Carter series (I think) while it was on --which was not too loo long !

Best Wishes, Everyone !

You can rent the whole series on videotape out here (no commercials ). It's sort of a cult thing still.

I always thought the show had something weird/mysterious about it and that made it interesting to watch, though I didn't watch it very often so when I did watch it I was confused as to what the heck was going on.

Remember the dancing dwarf? LOL
