We can start with these:
First, Read about Rush's problems with reality
HERE
If you do not want to go to that web site, you can just peruse these statements he has made:
Limbaugh vs. Limbaugh
LIMBAUGH: Limbaugh frequently denies that he uses his show for political activism: "I have yet to encourage you people or urge you to call anybody. I don't do it. They think I'm the one doing it. That's fine. You don't need to be told when to call. They think you are a bunch of lemmings out there." (Radio show, 6/28/93)
REALITY: Just an hour after making the above claim, he was--as usual--sending his troops to the trenches: "The people in the states where these Democratic senators are up for reelection in '94 have to let their feelings be known.... These senators, you let them know. I think Wisconsin's one state. Let's say Herb Kohl is up in '94. You people in Wisconsin who don't like this bill, who don't like the tax increases, you let Herb Kohl know somehow."
LIMBAUGH: On the poverty line: "$14,400 for a family of four. That's not so bad." (Radio show, 11/9/93, quoted in FRQ, Winter/94)
REALITY: Just a few months earlier, Limbaugh was talking about how tough it was to make 10 times that: "I know families that make $180,000 a year and they don't consider themselves rich. Why, it costs them $20,000 a year to send their kids to school." (Radio show, 8/3/93, quoted in FRQ, Winter/94)
LIMBAUGH: On Bill Clinton: "Never trust a draft dodger." (Radio show, quoted in FRQ, Summer/93)
REALITY: Although a supporter of the Vietnam War, Limbaugh used a minor physical impairment to avoid the draft (Minneapolis Star Tribune, 9/27/93).
LIMBAUGH: In frequent broadcasts, Limbaugh offers impassioned advocacy for Paula Jones, who charged Bill Clinton with sexual harassment. (TV and radio, April-May/94)
REALITY: Limbaugh boasted that a sign on his office door reads, "Sexual harassment at this work station will not be reported. However...it will be graded!!!" (USA Weekend, 1/26/92).
Here are some more happy thoughts from Rush:
Rush Lies: No nation has ever taxed itself into prosperity.
Truth is: The two most important factors contributing to the U.S.'s postwar economic boom were the GI Bill and the Interstate system. Both were paid for by tax dollars. Taxes are not inherantly evil. It is how they are applied and spent that determines if a tax is "good" or "bad."
Rush lies: Evidence refutes liberalism.
Truth is: What a totally silly statement. You may as well talk about purple cows jumping the moon for all the good it does you. Here is enough evidence for me...

Rush lies: The 1980s was not a decade of greed but a decade of prosperity; it was the longest period of peacetime growth in American history.
Truth is: That is incorrect. The greatest period of peacetime growth for the US economy was in the 1950's, when the GNP grew by 4 to 5 per cent in real terms every year of the decade. Not so coincidentally, that was also a decade when the top marginal tax rate for the very rich was 3 times what it is today, unions were strong, and the middle class grew tremendously.
Rush Lies: If you commit a crime, you are guilty.
Truth is: Unless, of course, you lie to Congress, lie to your President, disobey the Constitution, sell arms to America's enemies, and get off on a technicality. I guess Ollie North should still be in jail according to Rush. Oh wait, OLLIE NORTH was the guy who lied to Congress, lied to his President, disobeyed the Constitution, sold arms to America's enemies, and got off on a technicality
Rush Lies: My first 35 Undeniable Truths are still undeniably true.
Truth is: Especially the one about Communism being the ultimate threat to the USA, and the bit about the Steelers, right?
Rush Lies: Feminism was established as to allow unattractive women easier access to the mainstream of society.
Truth is: And the civil rights movement was established to allow unattractive black people easier access to the mainstream of society, right? PS: speaking of women, Mr. 2-time divorcee (how's that for family values?), how's Mrs. Compuserve these days?
Rush Lies: Liberals attempt through judicial activism what they cannot win at the ballot box.
Truth is: a - That is why nearly all liberal accomplishments, from the civil rights acts through environmental laws, labor laws, child-protection statutes, etc, etc were all won the traditional way, through acts of Congress?
b - It's only "judicial activism" when liberals do it. When conservatives do it, it is "good jurisprudence."
Rush Lies: Words mean things.
Truth Is: Which is why Jesse Helms should be under arrest now for threatening the life of the President...and why, no matter how much you try to deny it, you were caught in the act calling a 13-year-old girl a dog on national TV, and why your name calling and other "rhetorical" skills have made you a mockery of yourself.

I could go on and on, but it would probably just be like a voice in a high wind...excuse me for trying to inject a little perspective into the conversation.
