I got on last night after getting out of the hospital to find out some figure my paypal user name and password and then changed it and withdrew $300 out of my bank account. So I went to the bank and signed the unauthorized withdwal afidavid and called the cc that I had listed on pay pal and had it the account number changed. My bank said it should have the money back in my account no latter than Mon. Paypal on the other hand were dragging their feet and I finally got into my account and removed my bank account and changed my password and deleted the new email that this con entered. I think I may have something to do with a person that I had problems with fruad on ebay and he figured how to get into my account. I'm also PM socal to let her know about this as to let here know to watch out.
I don't trust these paypal systems. I prefer to send a money order by snail mail. Takes longer but there's no chance someone will find out your password or try to tap your bank/cc acount.
I was using PayPal for some Ebay sales. I did have one problem with them, that took over three weeks to correct. Other than that, I loved the service they provided me. If it wasn't for them, I would have only received about 1/3 of the sales I had.
But they definately do have some problems...I know I wouldn't have gone back if I had a second run with their customer service.
