Fathom X Project

This is a less than small undertaking that will probably consume all of my free time for a while to come.

It is something that I have been thinking about for quite a while now.

First I know your wondering what is the Fathom X Project.

My Generation is known as Generation X. Scientists in their all encompassing perfection have decided that it will be us that destroy the world as we know it. I disagree.

ITs called the fathom X Project for one reason. If we as Gen X have been given this awesome might so as to send the modern world to ruin..fathom what would happen if we used that might to help others.

This site and its staff currently one..will under take projects that are computer based and see them to a finish. Each project must in someway be designed to help others and must be possible and realistic.

Just thought I would share.

This little oddity of mine is in its embryo stage. ITs more of an open ended experement than a project. But you can be sure that I will keep you all updated on its progress and if you have any ideas or suggestions about it or want to help out(HINT HINT NUGE NUGE WINK WINK ) feel free to PM me.

I have began designing the gui for Fathom X. The colors will be black,and white with reddish orange accents.

Realistically (sorry its that bad side of me ) what even roughly does this do?

fathom what would happen if we used that might to help others

Science has told us that our generation, know as Generation X will bring about the downfall of the world as we know it. Science has put with in our hands a might great enough to bring down modern civilzation. Fathom the possibilites if that might were to be used for the betterment of others.

That is the basis it all right there vass...and help others as much as we can how we can...of course this site is about computers but that doesnt mean in our everday lives it has to stop at that.

If you see someone brokedown on your way home from work..stop and help them. If your in line behind someone at the supermarket who is like a buck or 2 short on their ticket help them.

The site will also include an archive for documents authored by members, software by members and useful utlities as well as digital art.

there will also be a disscussion thread for Projects and a community forum as well.

I'll keep you updated on anything else i come up with.
