I wanna know how they got that shot without the camera being fried to a crisp. Judging from the angle the camera has got to be very close. Obviously it must be a remote camera.

It's a cool pic, but it looks to me to be manufactured.

Judging by the diameter fo the SRB (solid rocket booster) that you can see, you should from the viewing angle be able to see the other one(at the bottom) on the opposite side. Also, when the main engines are firing, the insides of the motors are almost white, and the flame-tails are usually much bigger and brighter.

If this picture is fake then whoever did it should be in the counterfiet business, It's real, too much detail,

to stay out of the "krispy zone", You just need a thick glass window about 200 feet from the launch site with a telefoto, you can get it 1000 feet off the ground since the height of the shuttle is concealed, very nice pic, I have that site bookmarked already from one of your last posts, good site for some wild and brilliant pics.
