To tell you the truth, it was a fascinating sport....I hate watching figure skating.....I sat there and watched curling for about 25minutes (a record for Olympic viewing). Still haven't quite figured it out.

It is quite entertaining for a rally slow sport.
I dont know the rules but from watching, it seems pretty much like bowls or boules (petanq (spelling)).

In essence the stone nearest the bull wins, you get a point for each stone as you get further away until the the time comes when the next is one of your opponents stones.

Wah thats difficult to describe, perhaps one of our curling nation members (Scotland Finland Sweden etc.) has the rules in a nutshell.
