stupidstupidstupidstupidstupid

I was bored....sitting around all day...

So I decided at midnight to go out in back, on my hill and climb around a bit.....you see, it's GLARE ice, about 1/4-1/2" thick....I did it last night, was fun!!! I love challenges like that and putting myself into them on purpose...

Coming down, I decided to take the steeper, less trees route (more challenging)......

Go to hold on to a tree, about 3in" thick......

SNAP!!!!!!

I'm like OH S*IT....because there was only one way this was going to end......

I'm sliding down the 30-40degree slope until about 25-30ft. later.....THWAP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And then......

**** **** **** ****

And then....

praying that the pain would stop and I didn't have anything broken....

And then....

lieing there on my back, with my eyes closed as the primary pain went away...

Tried to get up......OWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW

Holy mother this hurt!!!!!!! Freaking froid what was I thinking doing this!!!! Of course I had thought of the challenge....but risks make up a challenge....

Needless to say, it WAS NOT fun going down the rest of the hill, hard enough with TWO functional legs.....

Limping sucks. I've got this bruise on my lower, left back now....anytime I put direct downward pressure on my left leg, it hurts...no work tomorrow and probably the next day.....hehe, I just called in at the beginning of January for busting my wrist up...they're gonna think I hurt myself all the time...

WHAT A MORON I AM!!!!! lol.....I did nearly the same thing 3 years ago....same conditions, but was out searching for my dog....SLIP....fall, this time on my back, sliding downward, feet first...TWAP...left leg hits FULL load into a tree.....sprained ankle...THAT hurt bad....actually worse....

lol....I'm such a moron, putting my self - purposely - into these situations.

That kind of stunt sounds like you need a rubber suit. A thick one! Then again maybe not. With your luck you would probably bounce from one thing to another all night!!

I'm thinking more of rubber walls ''

Just hum this tune Wart

They're coming to take me away, ha ha

They're coming to take me away, ho ho, he he, ha ha, to the Happy Home where life is Beautiful all the time.

I'll be so happy to see those nice young men in their clean white coats,
They're coming to take me away ha ha.

To the Happy Home where basket weavers sit and twiddle their thumbs and Toes.............

Wart,

You should go back to the Bush/Iraq thread, you'll get a little less bruised up in there.

maybe

Hey, at least you were outside, better than being in front of the computer, even if it is higher risk.
